WIP: The Solar System Live Wallpaper
This is a running preview of The Solar System Live Wallpaper for Android devices. It’s missing stars and lots of optimization. Also, this isn’t to scale but it’s somewhat close . The sun is really, really big and if it were to scale, Mercury and Earth would be very difficult to see. Eventually, you will be able to add and remove elements. I’m building an asteroid belt that will orbit the Sun and people will be able to mess with it. Pluto will only be available for the pro version. It’s not considered a part of the Universe anymore, so it’ll be a nice bonus. The free and paid version will not have any special permissions, ads or an in-app purchasing system. I know how precious resources are to users.
I can’t seem to think of an Uranus joke, but I’ll probably come up with one sooner or later. Be prepared.
iPhone or Android Flowchart

Need help deciding if you want an iPhone or Android? As an iOS and Android developer, you can see the similarities between the two mobile devices, but at the same time you notice the stark difference between the two. I’m going to assume that there are some people that don’t care to mess with personal files on their phones. It was based on observing people with iPhones that I know. I tried really hard not to be biased because I love both platforms. The whole iPhone vs Android mantra is rather silly. Pick a phone that fits your lifestyle and take a second to imagine yourself using it day in and day out.
Please Cut That Long And Gross Pinky Nail
I saw this in the wild and thought it was pretty neat until I noticed the really long pinky nail. If you look closely, you can see traces of coke. What are you, some geeky drug lord?
Detect Mobile Browser Javascript
As more and more people visit your website with mobile devices, you’re going to need all the help you can get to figure out what the user’s device is. Sometimes you’ll need browser side detection for whatever reason and this function should return the device they’re running on according to the user agent string pulled from the browser. If you’re not seeing anything in the result panel, it’s because you’re viewing it on the desktop. The function will come handy when you hit the wall with Media Query.
