How to Update Android’s SDK The Easy Way

If you’re having issues updating the API versions in the Android SDK Manager on Windows 7, right click the executable and Run as Administrator. I finally realized it after trying everything on this page for several hours. I then saw Comment 180 at the bottom and wished it was at the very top because everyone made it super complicated. It seems as though some of them wanted to give up developing for Android and started talking crap about Google’s setup. Sometimes the problem so happens to be yourself. So, checkity check yourself before you wreck yourself.

I guess the US is moving towards banning PS in ads. This is perhaps one of the most stupidest thing to waste your precious energy on. If these photo manipulated images are giving you a false sense of beauty then you might need therapy instead. They shouldn’t over do it with the airbrush, but don’t blame ads that you know are made to look ultra unrealistic.
You might as well start banning charcoal because those caricatures of people that street artist make are making people bearable to look at.

To check and see if you have Carrier IQ capturing personal data, download Any Cut or check out lifehacker.com’s how-to article. Go to New shortcut > Activity and look for an activity called “IQRD” or “IQAgent”. This type of horse shit is illegal and is a security breach. From the looks of the video, it’s logging your keyboard events and passing it to who the fuck knows. So, that means when you’re punching in your password to your personal bank account app, it’s sending it to the mothership. The data that is being passed isn’t even encrypted and anyone can intercept it. It’s rootkit if I ever saw one.
Verizon is collecting info but not in a sneaky way and you can opt out of it. After you change your settings, it makes you wonder if they’re really going to stop.
