Muro Sketch

It’s a sketch I made with Muro on the Pro settings and it pretty much is a water down version of Photoshop. I started to test out some of the filters so I can see what kind of effects it’s capable of. Just like PS, the app has a layer palette and you can adjust the transparency values with a slider. What I like about having limited features is it forces you to use certain tools without relying on anything else. In Photoshop you have an array of tools to help you create textures but not in Muro. It can be a challenge at times.
Some of the tools I’d like to see is smudging, selection, and a way to adjust your RGB values. Another thing I want to see is the ability to preview your effect before committing to it. My other gripe is that you’re limited to the dimension. I think it would be nice to control your canvas size. For a free online art app, it’s rather good.
Muro Sketch
I drew this with Deviantart’s new web app, Muro. The brushes are decent and you can buy sets of new brushes. If you have a Wacom tablet, it’ll be like a walk in the park. There’s a plugin that you install too. Give it a try.
