Pablo Pizzy and Salador Dali

One of my favorite artist growing up is Pablo Picasso. It wasn’t an overnight thing where I admired his work the moment I saw it. Over time I learned that he was recognized as a prodigy at a young age. He mastered rendering and all the technical skills that fueled his thirst for self expression through all sorts of medium. When people think of him, they normally think about his Cubist work where it’s pretty much squiggly lines and blocks of color. He has proven to the world that he can draw and paint realistically so his late work is something to admire. Here we are- 100 years later and everyone wants to scribble charcoal on canvas and try to sell you shoddy work because they’re full of crap. Hey, there’s a sucker born every minute.

My early work is known to be of a precocious draftsman. I took time to observe nature and capture the beautiful details of the human body at The Royal Academy of Art in Barcelona. So learning how to draw was essential to the fundamentals of my work.

I would suggest offering him twice the amount he is asking because he’s better at my style and has bypassed the whole rendering of things. Pure genius.

The pretense of the art world baffles me. Art should be accessible to everyone and it can be such a loosely used word. Oh, I just piled some feces together and wrote a paragraph about my endeavors on creating the piece. Now check out this wonderful painting I found on eBay. The thing that’s actually creative is the title which leads me to believe that’s why he’s asking for 21 million bucks. I wished he named it “Moneyshot” because you’re going to need sell a lot of it.

I saw this on eBay and wondered what kind of software would cost me 5 million bucks so naturally I had to ask questions. If you check out the site that they have listing, it reaffirms the legitimacy of the software. You don’t want to blow 5 million clams on just anything. I love how the home page says, “home page” at the very top.

So my wife and I moved into our new place over the weekend and we wanted to fill it up with artwork. I looked around Etsy.com to see what I can find. I found this piece which blew my mind. Only because it’ll cost me some change. Don’t get me wrong- I like to support unknown artists that strive to jumpstart my imagination. I used to do murals for the cost of dinner so I know a thing or two about trying to sell art. It ain’t easy.

If you have ever seen Shark Tank, it’s basically a show about people asking for money in exchange for shares of their startup company. They will ask how much is the company worth and compare it to what they’re asking for. People have requested reasonable amounts just like this piece.

Thank you Rachel. So far I love the community and will be purchasing pieces to fill my studio. I have a lot of investment in Apple and as you know the iPad is about to be released soon. Once the iPad is finally out to the consumers, I will sell my stocks to buy this gem. I don’t want a print.

Growing up clowns have terrified me and caused me to defecate uncontrollably but when I look at this piece I get a sense of control. The usage of primary colors seem to tickle my soul. In the background, the dog gazes at me with wonder and excitement like a new born pup.

What was your inspiration when you created it? What medium did you use? Are you getting the iPad?

I’m not really sure what my inspiration was for this painting…
I just wanted to try an abstract painting. Before “Surely Ye Jest”
most of my paintings were of animals and landscapes. I wanted to
try something different.

I used watercolors on a canvas panel.

I know I’m going to sound stupid, but I really have no idea what
an iPad is, so I don’t know if I’m getting one, lol!

Optimize Windows 7 Performance

As much as I love all those animations that came with Windows 7, my computer suffered and pretty much lagged. To cure the sluggish blues I tweaked it a bit:

Hit Start and search for SystemPropertiesPerformance.exe
Click on Visual Effects tab
Customize to suit your needs

My desktop looks like I’m on Windows 98 but I still have the punch of a modern OS.

How to Clear Safari’s Cache

You can clear Safari 4.0.4 cache and everything from saved passwords to cookies by clicking on general settings > Reset Safari . I thought it was a little strange how they labeled the feature and so I wanted to share it. You can also clear browsing history if you’ve been checking out smut. But if your wife or girlfriend is behind you while you’re checking out porn…well, just say you’re doing research.
