The board is snug within the casing and the heat emitting areas are in direct contact so it will help dissipate heat when things get hot and heavy. You have the option to mount it anywhere you like because of the three holes on the bottom. The LED lights and GPIO port are a nice touch. This nearly indestructible shell is for someone who is extremely serious about protecting their pi because the price tag is twice as much as the board. If you’re not impressed by the design, you can always design something and they’ll etch it on for you. Don’t etch a drawing of your hairy balls. That’s just weird and creepy.
